The 70 Adventures Before Grade 7 challenge
This new tools helps children and families to get familiar with all kinds on living and other heritage! The tool has been developed in cooperation by the Association of Cultural Heritage Education in Finland, the Finnish Heritage Agency, Federation of Local Heritage Associations and European Heritage Days.
The 70 Adventures Before Grade 7 challenge is perfect for families, school classes and clubs. It’s a fun way to explore cultural heritage and share thoughts about your hometown, nature, traditions and sustainable living. You can capture your adventures in photos or videos and share them with your group or online.
The activities grown-ups working with children to recognise and appreciate the full range and many sides of cultural heritage.
Cultural heritage can be tangible like objects and buildings, intangible like festivals and traditions, digital like games and videos, or it can be natural environments. It’s important that we preserve, refresh and pass on cultural heritage responsibly to future generations.
Download and print your copy in English, Finnish or Swedish on A4 paper double-sided and fold it so that you get an A5-sized booklet with the adventures on the inside spread.
Pass it on to the kids on your class to be filled during the next holiday! Or take it out to your grandkids and dive together into the world of heritage.
